Description
Hikvision DS-2CD2446G2-I Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2446G2-I(2.8mm)(C) is a 4MP AcuSense Powered-by-DarkFighter fixed cube network camera for indoor monitoring. Its 1/3-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records at up to 2688 × 1520, while the fixed 2.8mm F1.4 lens provides a 102.7° horizontal field of view.
The camera combines 120dB WDR, infrared illumination up to 10 metres and human and vehicle classification for supported events. Its passive-infrared sensor detects compatible body-heat movement up to 8 metres, while the built-in microphone and 1W speaker support two-way audio and audible-warning playback. Compatible memory cards up to 512GB are supported.
Key Benefits
-
4MP detail: captures up to 2688 × 1520 at 25/30fps.
-
DarkFighter low-light performance: a manufacturer-rated 0.003-lux colour sensitivity at F1.4 supports indoor low-light imaging.
-
AcuSense classification: supported events can distinguish human and vehicle targets.
-
PIR detection: the body-heat-sensitive sensor covers up to 8 metres under suitable conditions.
-
Built-in two-way audio: integrated microphone and speaker support communication and warning playback.
-
10m infrared: built-in IR supports monochrome monitoring in darkness.
-
120dB WDR: helps manage strongly backlit indoor scenes.
-
Local recording: compatible cards up to 512GB are supported.

DarkFighter, PIR and Two-Way Audio
DarkFighter supports improved low-light imaging before the camera changes to infrared. The PIR sensor responds to compatible body-heat movement and can complement video-based event detection. Neither technology guarantees the removal of every unwanted event.
The built-in microphone and speaker support compatible two-way communication and audible-warning playback. Audio performance depends on room acoustics, mounting and network conditions.
Installation and Compatibility
This plastic cube camera has no stated IP weather rating and is intended for protected indoor use. Confirm NVR 4MP, AcuSense, PIR, two-way audio, PoE and storage compatibility before ordering.
