305m Cat5e UTP CCA Internal Network Cable
This 305 metre Cat5e UTP cable provides a practical bulk cabling solution for internal network, data and compatible CCTV installations.
Supplied in a 305 metre box, the cable features four twisted pairs with an unshielded UTP construction and CCA conductors. It is designed for internal cable runs where bulk network cable is required for installation and termination on site.
305 Metres of Bulk Cat5e Network Cable
With 305 metres of cable supplied in one box, installers can cut network runs to the required length rather than relying on fixed-length ready-made patch leads.
This makes it suitable for larger domestic, commercial and CCTV installation projects where multiple network cable runs may be required from a single box.
4-Pair UTP Construction
The cable uses a four-pair UTP construction. UTP stands for Unshielded Twisted Pair, meaning the cable does not incorporate additional metallic shielding around the twisted pairs.
Correct network cabling practices should be followed during installation, including appropriate routing and separation from electrical wiring and potential sources of interference.
CCA Conductor Construction
This particular cable is specified as CCA, meaning Copper Clad Aluminium.
It should not be confused with full-copper network cable. Where an installation has specific requirements for conductor material, network distance, PoE power delivery or compliance standards, those requirements should be checked before selecting the cable.
Designed for Internal Installations
This product is identified as an internal Cat5e network cable.
Typical applications can include appropriately designed indoor network and data cabling installations such as:
- Internal Ethernet network cabling
- Compatible IP CCTV network cabling
- Network equipment connections
- Home and office data cabling
- Internal structured cabling projects
- General low-voltage network installations
The cable is not advertised as outdoor, UV-resistant, weather-resistant or direct-burial cable. A cable specifically rated for those environments should be selected when installing outdoors or underground.
Colour May Vary
The cable colour may vary depending on the stock supplied.
For this reason, customers who require a particular cable colour for identification, matching or installation purposes should confirm availability before ordering.
Installer-Friendly Bulk Box
The 305 metre bulk format provides flexibility when carrying out installations involving multiple cable routes or different run lengths.
This is installation cable rather than a ready-made RJ45 patch lead. Appropriate compatible termination hardware and installation tools may therefore be required depending on the intended application.
Important Installation Information
This exact product is specified as Cat5e, UTP, 4-pair, CCA and intended for internal installation.
Specifications including conductor gauge, jacket material, verified network bandwidth, maximum data rate, PoE performance, fire classification and certification standards are not provided for this exact cable and should not be assumed.
Always check the requirements of the network equipment, CCTV equipment and installation environment before use.

Choose the Correct Cable for Your Installation
This 305 metre Cat5e UTP CCA cable is a convenient option for internal network cabling projects where CCA construction is appropriate for the intended installation.
For installations that specifically require full-copper conductors, outdoor-rated cable, verified PoE performance, a particular fire rating or another defined technical standard, choose a cable whose specifications explicitly meet those requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
What type of cable is this?
This is a 305 metre Cat5e UTP bulk network cable intended for internal installations.
How long is the cable?
The box contains 305 metres of Cat5e network cable.
Is this cable full copper?
No. This particular cable is specified as CCA, which means Copper Clad Aluminium. It should not be advertised or described as full-copper cable.
What does CCA mean?
CCA stands for Copper Clad Aluminium. It describes conductors manufactured using an aluminium core with a copper outer layer.
Is this Cat5 or Cat5e?
The product is specified as Cat5e.
Is this cable shielded?
No. It is specified as UTP and unshielded.
How many twisted pairs does the cable have?
The cable is specified as a 4-pair UTP cable.
Is this cable suitable for indoor installation?
Yes. This product is specifically identified as an internal Cat5e cable.
Can this cable be installed outdoors?
This product is not specified as outdoor, UV-resistant or weather-resistant cable. For external installations, use cable that is specifically rated for outdoor conditions.
Can this cable be buried underground?
No direct-burial rating has been verified for this product. Do not advertise it as direct-burial cable.
Can I use this cable for CCTV?
It can be used as network cabling in compatible internal IP CCTV installations where its Cat5e UTP CCA construction meets the requirements of the equipment and installation.
Can I use this cable with PoE CCTV cameras?
A specific PoE performance or power rating has not been provided for this exact cable. Check the requirements of the camera, NVR, PoE switch and complete cable run before selecting it for a PoE installation.
Does this cable support Gigabit Ethernet?
A specific verified data-rate specification has not been supplied for this exact product, so Gigabit performance should not be advertised as a confirmed product claim.
What AWG is the cable?
The conductor gauge has not been specified for this exact product and should not be guessed.
What material is the outer jacket?
The outer jacket material has not been specified for this exact product.
What colour is the cable?
The product is sold with the notice that the cable colour may vary, so a specific colour is not guaranteed.
Does it come in a box?
Yes. The product is supplied as a 305 metre box of bulk cable.
Does it come with RJ45 plugs already fitted?
This is bulk installation cable rather than a ready-made patch lead. Pre-fitted RJ45 connectors are not stated as included.
