variant of the DS-KD8003-IME1(B) modular door station — the same core camera and audio unit but without the built-in physical call button and finished in stainless steel rather than polycarbonate/aluminium, intended for installation alongside a separate nametag or keypad calling module.

Does it support PoE?

Yes, it supports standard Power over Ethernet, allowing you to power it and transmit data over a single network cable, simplifying installation at outdoor entry points.

Can I answer door calls on my phone?

Yes, when paired with a compatible indoor remotely.

Is the door station weatherproof?

Yes, it carries an IP65 ingress protection rating and a stainless steel housing, making it highly resistant to dust, rain, and salt air, which suits coastal and industrial installations better than standard finishes.

How does the night vision work?

It uses a built-in infrared supplement light that locks?

Yes, the unit provides two lock relay outputs and a direct 12V/500mA power feed, enough to connect and trigger an electric strike or magnetic lock without an additional power supply.

Why would I choose this over the standard need?

It requires a separate flush (DS-KD-ACF series) or surface (DS-KD-ACW series) mounting bracket, purchased separately, matching the number of modules in the final panel.

What is the camera field of view?

It uses a fisheye lens with a wide field
