This 3.6mm lens variant offers a narrower, longer-throw field of view than the 2.8mm version, suited to covering more distant points of interest with the same PoC (Power over Coax) single-cable installation benefit.

Hikvision DS-2CE12KF3T-LE ColorVu Bullet Camera (3.6mm)

Standard night-vision cameras switch to black-and-white once light drops, which strips out colour detail that can be critical for identifying clothing, vehicle colour, or other visual cues. The DS-2CE12KF3T-LE avoids this by combining a 3K CMOS sensor (2960x1665 max resolution) with an F1.0 super-aperture lens and Hikvision's Smart Supplement Light system, which automatically balances IR and white-light output up to 40 metres to keep the image in full colour even in near-total darkness, rated down to 0.0005 Lux and effectively 0 Lux once the white light engages.

Being a PoC-compatible model gives this camera a real installation advantage over standard IP or even standard TVI cameras: a single coaxial cable carries both power and video signal back to a compatible PoC-enabled DVR, removing the need for a separate local power supply at the camera end. The 3.6mm lens gives a tighter 80° horizontal field of view than the 2.8mm variant, trading some coverage width for a longer effective viewing distance — better suited to narrower approaches, gateways or entry points where identifying detail at range matters more than maximum area coverage.

KEY BENEFITS

Full-colour imaging 24/7, even in near-total darkness

PoC support simplifies cabling — power and video on one coax run

F1.0 super-aperture lens maximises available light gathering

Smart dual-light system balances IR and white light automatically

Narrower 80° field of view suited to longer-distance viewing

KEY FEATURES

3K CMOS sensor, max resolution 2960x1665

3.6mm fixed lens, FOV 80°(H) / 49°(V) / 105°(D)

Min. illumination 0.0005 Lux colour (F1.0, AGC ON), 0 Lux with white light

Smart/IR/White supplement light, up to 40m range

PoC (Power over Coax) support

Frame rate: 3K@20fps, 4MP@25/30fps, 1080p@25/30fps

Bullet form factor, M12 lens mount

IDEAL FOR

Gateways, entry points and narrower approaches needing longer viewing distance

Analogue system upgrades where PoC simplifies re-cabling

Sites needing accurate colour capture of clothing or vehicles after dark at range

Budget-conscious installs wanting ColorVu image quality without an IP upgrade

Perimeter and building exterior monitoring with a tighter field of view

Retrofits onto existing coax runs with a compatible PoC DVR

Applications where identification detail matters more than area coverage

Specification

Details

Brand

Hikvision

Model

DS-2CE12KF3T-LE(3.6mm)

Product Type

ColorVu Bullet Camera

Sensor

3K CMOS

Max Resolution

2960 x 1665

Lens

3.6mm fixed, M12 mount

Field of View

80°(H) / 49°(V) / 105°(D)

Min.
